Jenny Yuan Shan Boyd, Sensei
Jenny received Dharma transmission on May 20, 2023 from Scott Zengen Thompson, Sensei. She has been practicing with the New River Zen Community in Blacksburg, VA for over 20 years and has been a member of SWVZG since its inception.
Scott Zengen Thompson, Sensei – Teacher Emeritus
Scott received Dharma transmission from Roshi Charles Shinkai Birx on September 21, 2013. Scott has been practicing Zen for over 30 years, initially with Shasta Abbey, and since 2001 with the New River Zen Community in Blacksburg, VA.
